2. Check the Device Shadow

With the device registration completed, let’s investigate the shadow document of the device.

  1. On the AWS IoT Core console, click on the Things menu and then Click on the device dojodevice1 to check the details.

  2. On the next screen, select Shadows menu option. You can see sample, default shadow document for the device.

  3. Next, select Interact menu option. You can see list of reserved topics which are used to manage shadow document for the device. You can see topics for the get, update and delete operations.

  4. In the next task, you will use these topics to work with the Shadow document for the device.
