2: What are we building?

Before you start the workshop, let’s go through what would be the outcome.

Architecture

You will create an Index in Amazon Kendra to configure the search service. The search service will have two data sources - Amazon S3 bucket and Salesforce. Amazon S3 bucket is configured with some sample files which are used for the search. For Salesforce, the workshop is using trial version of Salesforce Developer Edition. The search service will be configured to search Account, Lead, Case and Contact objects in the Salesforce.

The workshop will use Amazon Kendra Search console to test the search service.
