AWS IoT Core Integration with Amazon Timestream

AWS IoT Core enables the devices to easily and securely interact with cloud applications and other devices. AWS IoT Core supports HTTP, Web Sockets, and MQTT protocols for the communication. AWS IoT Core also allows to filter, transform, and act upon device data exchanged during the communication.

Amazon Timestream is a serverless time series database service. Amazon Timestream manages time series data life cycle by keeping recent data in memory and moving historical data to a cost optimized storage tier. Amazon Timestream has built-in time series analytics functions, helping identify trends and patterns in the data in near real-time. Amazon Timestream is serverless and automatically scales up or down to adjust capacity and performance.

AWS IoT Core and Amazon Timestream integration is natural choice because IoT generates time series data while Timestream stores and manages the time series data. In this workshop, you learn about AWS IoT Core and Amazon Timestream integration.
