2. Create S3 Bucket

You will create an Amazon S3 bucket which serves many purposes. It will be used to store the device job definition file. It will also store a file which is used by the job definition file. These files will be explained later in the workshop.

  1. Login to AWS Management Console and choose Ireland as the region.

  2. Go to the S3 Management Console and create a S3 bucket with name dojo-job. If the bucket name is not available, then use a name which is available.

  3. The next task is to register the device in AWS IoT Core.
